and Conditions - Billing
Website
setup: Website design, setup and publishing fees
are payable in advance.
Typically
when we set up a website, a draft of your site will be created,
and upon your approval and once payment is received, the site
will be completed and published online.
Website
hosting: Monthly hosting fees are payable in advance,
by the 1st of the month prior to the month of hosting.
Unless stated
otherwise, your monthly hosting fees include our maintaining
the site for you, including periodic updates and amendments.
Domain
name hosting: Domain name fees are payable annualy
in advance.
Terms: All
fees are payable in advance. Website hosting for accounts that
are 7 days overdue are automatically suspended.*
Cancellation: There
are no cancellation fees or penalties. However one
month's notice is required if you wish to discontinue your website hosting
with MIS.
Payment
methods: Accounts should be paid directly to Managed
Internet Solutions' bank account, via automatic payment,
direct debit, manual deposit or Internet banking. Cheque
payments are not usually accepted. If payments are made by cheque a $25.00 surcharge will apply.
Please
supply your domain name (without the www) or
business name as a reference when making payments
or setting up automatic payments.
* We
encourage you not to let your website hosting become suspended,
as this can have a negative affect on your site's search engine
rankings, which can be slow to build up again.
Other
general terms
Website
updates: Usually
your monthly hosting fees include our making updates to the
site on your behalf. Full priced hosting includes up to an
hour per month, or lower priced hosting up to 30 minutes
per month. If major updates are required that exceed these
allowances you will be consulted for confirmation, whereupon
an hourly charge may apply.
The general rate for website updates or speculative design work are $30.00 per hour for hosting customers, otherwise $60.00 per hour, charged in half hour increments.
In all cases
where additional costs may be incurred you will be consulted
first.
Technical
support: All
MIS customers are entitled to free limited computer hardware,
software and Internet technical support and advice, via email
or occasionaly via telephone. (Home or business visits
can be made, but will incur a charge).
